Little Broken Boy
Last evening our little Lewis against his parents counsel decided to keep jumping off a bed in his sisters room. At the foot of the bed was a bed rail to prevent toddlers from rolling off the bed. Lewis tried to jump over it and onto the floor. He tripped over the rail falling to the floor and trying to catch himself with his arm. Instantly he started crying and holding his right elbow. He wanted to lie down on the floor and we thought it may be broken, but he wasn’t crying that hard. We figured he may have stretched it or had a bad sprain. After a while we decided to take him into urgent care. X-rays confirmed he had indeed broke his arm. Lewis was very brave as they put his arm in a splint and wrapped it. This morning he went to the doctor and had it put in a blue cast. Lewis has repeatedly told us that he wont be jumping off the bed anymore.
